As of early 2026, Disney has shifted primarily toward digital admission via the MagicMobile service on smartphones and smartwatches. However, you can still obtain a physical RFID-enabled plastic card, which is often referred to as a "Key to the World" card. These are available upon request at any theme park "Guest Relations" window or at the front desk of a Disney Resort hotel. While they are free for most ticket holders, Disney has moved away from the "MagicBand" being a standard, free inclusion; now, if you want a physical wearable, you must purchase a MagicBand+ separately (typically starting at $35). The physical cards are still highly recommended for guests who do not want to rely on their phone's battery life throughout a long park day, as they do not require power and are waterproof. For Annual Passholders, a physical pass card is still mailed to your home address upon purchase or renewal as a standard part of the membership kit, though the digital version remains the primary method for entering "Lightning Lane" queues and applying merchandise discounts.
