Can you get free birthday Starbucks at Disney?

Although there are multiple Starbucks locations throughout the Disneyland Resort, only the Downtown Disney Starbucks location allows you to use rewards and honor your birthday freebie.

You can get a free birthday drink at Starbucks within Disney property, but only if you follow specific rules related to the Starbucks Rewards program. To qualify in 2026, you must be a registered member of the Starbucks Rewards program at least 30 days prior to your birthday and have made at least one "Star-earning" purchase. On your actual birthday, your reward will be loaded onto your account. Crucially, you can only redeem this at "corporate-owned" Starbucks locations, which at Disney World means the two large stores in Disney Springs (the Marketplace and West Side locations). The Starbucks locations inside the four theme parks (like Main Street Bakery in Magic Kingdom or Creature Comforts in Animal Kingdom) are "licensed" locations; while they accept the Starbucks App for payment and earning stars, they generally do not redeem the "Free Birthday Reward" or "Star" redemptions. To get your free caffeine fix on your big day, you’ll need to take a bus or boat over to Disney Springs rather than trying to redeem it at the parks.
