Can you get into Disneyland with your phone?

Please note: If you wish to have your Disney eTicket digitally scanned, you must be using an internet-accessible handheld device in order to access your ticket. We ask that you review our Disneyland Resort park rules before your visit to avoid any delays or disruptions.

Julia, you don't need to show any form of ID to enter the park or purchase a regular admission ticket. However, if you're using a Southern California Resident ticket, you will need to provide proof of residency. So, what's the difference between a regular admission ticket and a SoCal Resident ticket?

To enter Disneyland Park or Disney California Adventure Park, each Guest age 3 and older must have a valid theme park ticket and a theme park reservation for the same day.

If you are using Standard Theme Park Tickets, you do not need a valid government-issued photo ID for admission into the Disneyland Resort parks. However, there are special tickets that DO require a valid government-issued photo ID for admission, such as military tickets.

When you visit the Disneyland Resort Main Entrance Turnstiles, the Cast Members there will scan your tickets, and take a picture of each Guest. This is how the tickets will be assigned to the Guests.

Please note that your tickets must be property linked to your Disney account as this is required to make theme park reservations via the Disney Park Pass system. Your reservations will be linked to My Disney Experience so there is no need to print them out.

There are some park tickets that do require identification when you scan in through the Main Entrance Gates while others do not. If you have regular single-day or multi-day One Park Per Day and Park Hopper tickets, you will not be asked for ID.

Yes! There is complimentary Wi-Fi available across the Disneyland Resort for guests to use. Just open the settings in your mobile device and connect to the Disney-Guest network and you'll be good to go!
