Atlantis doesn't do “free” well, so by “free” I really mean, you can enter for free, but it's assumed you'll spend money while you are there. Don't expect to access much of the property. Without a Day Pass, you'll likely not be able to get past security to see much of the resort.

The cheapest month to visit Atlantis Bahamas is September, so if you are willing to go during hurricane season, you can get a great deal. There are also lower rates from January 2nd through early February and most of May. Remember to avoid high-demand periods such as school vacations, holidays, or other busy times.

The best time to visit Atlantis is during its peak season, which runs from mid-December to mid-April. There is minimal rainfall during the peak season, with comfortable temperatures above 60 degrees Fahrenheit.

However, it will take you a full day to enjoy everything at the water park. So if you also are hoping to enjoy some relaxing beach time or participate in any of the dolphin encounter programs (definitely one of the best Atlantis activities), then staying a night or two at the resort is definitely worthwhile.
