Can Universal Orlando Be Done in One Day? The simple answer is: Yes!it's toadally possible to fit Universal Studios Florida and Universal's Islands of Adventure into one day. What makes park hopping easy at Universal Orlando is the fact that the two parks are right next to each other.
For that reason, we recommend devoting a minimum of a full day to each Universal Orlando theme park, especially if this is your first visit. Three days is ideal, particularly with a park-to-park pass, as it will allow you to fully explore each park and revisit your favorite attractions.
Universal Orlando is unique, with both parks are located next to each other and within walking distance. I would highly recommend purchasing a 2-park ticket, as both parks are worth visiting (and with a 2-park ticket you can ride the Hogwarts Express!).
Guests can also travel between parks by walking from main gate to main gate via Universal CityWalk, but the Hogwarts Express is certainly more magical. Note: In order to visit both parks — and both lands within the Wizarding World — you'll need a two-park ticket (more on that below).
What You'll Need. First, you'll need to know that The Wizarding World of Harry Potter encompasses two parks (Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure), so the first thing you'll need is a 2-park 1-day ticket. That will cost you around $164 per adult and $159 per child.

That's how much time you should be spending in Magic Kingdom if your trip lasts a week or longer. Magic Kingdom is the only park at Walt Disney World that we believe requires two days to do everything without feeling rushed–you can do the other parks in one day each.
You can absolutely visit Islands of Adventure in just one day especially with Early Park Admission. You may not get to see everything or ride every ride in the park however, you will be able to get your top attractions done in just one day.

You can also opt to visit Universal Studios and Islands of Adventureone day with a park-to-park ticket and spend your second day splashing at Volcano Bay. Even on a low-crowd day, if you arrive at the parks at 10:00 am and have to leave by 3:00 pm, you're going to end up feeling like you hit a really busy day. That is why it's always best, regardless of what other factors are involved, to get there early and/or stay late.
As you can guess if Saturday and Monday tend to be the busiest, Tuesday tends to be the best day to visit Universal Studios Orlando. We also find Thursday to be one of the least busy days of the week at Universal Studios, with Sunday being a great weekend option.
When it comes to which Harry Potter park is better at Universal, Diagon Alley in Islands of Adventure is the clear winner. They have more shops, more merchandise, and the fun of trading your money for Gringotts bank notes. Plus, the younger kids will love the stuffed animals at the Magical Menagerie!
3) Which Harry Potter Park Should I Go to First? For the most authentic Harry Potter experience, head to Diagon Alley at Universal Studios first—just like Harry did in the first book.
Theme Park 2.IOA is the second of the three Universal parks in Orlando, and it has a distinctly different feel from either USF or Volcano Bay. Whereas USF is oriented around classic movie franchises like Jurassic Park and Harry Potter, IOA is all about high-adrenaline rides and attractions.
A park-to-park ticket is a ticket that allows you to hop from park to park and move between Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure. You can even get a three park hopper, so you can also go to Universal's Volcano Bay. To be honest, I think doing three parks in one day would be very challenging.
