Can you have a backpack at Worlds of Fun?

What security procedures are implemented at Worlds of Fun? Guests arriving at the park will go through metal detection every public operating day. All bags, purses, backpacks, waist packs, etc. are subject to search prior to entering.

Single strollers, double-seat strollers, wagons, wheelchairs, and electric convenience vehicles (ECVs) may be used during your visit to Worlds of Fun, and you are welcome to bring your own.

The park's new policy requires anyone age 15 or younger, and in the park after 4 p.m., to have an adult with them. That adult has to be someone who is at least 21 years old. The chaperone is required to be available by phone at all times and stay in the park through the duration of the visit.

Helpful? Depends on what your looking to do. If you're going with small kids and are just going to do camp snoopy then at least 4 to 5 hours. If your doing the whole park it will probably take all day, especially if you go on a weekend.

The fine for smoking or vaping on a flight can range from $2 to $4,000, and by itself is not a jailable offense. However, it can quickly escalate if a person is found to have tampered with a smoke detector, or failed to comply with a crew member's instruction, such as to stop smoking.

Smokers may be pleased to learn that you can now carry what the TSA calls “common lighters” on board. In other words, a plastic BIC lighter is acceptable, but leave the butane or torch lighters like your dad's old Zippo in your checked baggage, or even at home.
