You generally cannot "just walk into" a Walt Disney World theme park in 2026 without a ticket, but the requirements for additional Park Reservations have been significantly relaxed. For most standard, date-based tickets (the ones most tourists buy), you only need your valid admission to enter; the reservation system was officially ended for these ticket types in 2024. However, if you are an Annual Passholder, you may still need a reservation to enter your first park, unless it is after 2:00 PM (except at Magic Kingdom on weekends) or a designated "Good-to-Go" day. It is also important to note that the parks can still reach "capacity" on major holidays like Christmas or New Year's Day, at which point even ticket holders may be temporarily turned away. If you are looking for a "free" way to experience Disney, you can walk into Disney Springs or visit the lobby areas of the various Disney Resort hotels without a ticket; however, these areas do not offer access to the theme park rides or attractions, which always require paid admission and a linked MyDisney account.
