Can you leave your car at Magic Kingdom overnight?

Some have wondered Can I park overnight in one of the theme park lots or at the Disney Transportation Center? The answer is no.

Generally, no, you cannot leave your car at the Magic Kingdom (Transportation and Ticket Center) parking lot overnight. Disney's official policy in 2026 is that theme park parking lots are cleared shortly after the park closes to allow for maintenance and security sweeps. If a vehicle is left behind without prior authorization, it is subject to being towed at the owner's expense. There are two main exceptions: if you are a guest staying at a Disney Resort hotel, you have complimentary overnight parking at your specific hotel, or if you have a mechanical breakdown, in which case you must notify a Security Host or call Disney's security line to avoid towing. For those planning a "drinking around the world" night at EPCOT or late nights at Disney Springs, it is always safer and cheaper to use Disney’s complimentary bus, monorail, or boat transportation rather than risking an overnight stay in a standard theme park lot.
