Can you link two different peoples account together to plan the Disney trip?

To view and make plans with your friends, Wendi, the key is to connect with everyone in your party as Family & Friends in My Disney Experience. Once a person appears on your Family & Friends List, you can attempt to join the virtual queue together and/or purchase an Individual Lightning Lane together.

Each person in your family does not need a separate My Disney Experience account but should be included on your account for easy planning. If you need to add your spouse or kids, sign into your My Disney Experience account. Choose Family & Friends then go to the bottom where you have the option to Add a Guest.

Make sure that both of you have your own My Disney Experience accounts, have downloaded the My Disney Experience mobile app, and have connected with each other (ensuring that you are sharing plans). This will allow both of you to make reservations from your individual devices and accounts for your travel party.

To do this, download and log in to the Disneyland app. From there you will click on the three lines on the bottom right corner of the app and then click on Ticket and Passes. Here you can add the rest of your family's tickets to your account. I will note that it is okay to have tickets on more than one account.

Name each new ticket accurately for each user when you link them because the names on tickets cannot be changed. Disneyland does not check the names, but it will be easier for you to select party members in Genie+ if the tickets are named properly.

On your device, go to My Profile and choose Family & Friends List at the top. Scroll to the bottom of your list and select Add a Guest and then Scan their linking code. You'll be able to use your phone's camera to scan your wife's linking code. Once she accepts the invitation to connect, you should be all set.

Julia, one of the great things about the My Disney Experience app is that while each member traveling with you (ages 13 and older) can choose to use the app with their own My Disney Experience account, they don't have to.

If you are willing to keep the whole family on a single account, then they'll need their own when (if) they begin traveling to Disney World on their own or making plans with friends who aren't on your Friends & Family List.
