Can you pair multiple MagicBands to one phone?

You can link multiple MagicBands using the My Disney Experience app with a few simple steps. You can link the MagicBands for everyone in your party, which makes planning so much easier! There are so many cool things that you can do in the My Disney Experience app!

There's no way to reassign a magic band unfortunately. The only time I've been able to reassign was when I bought an MB plus for my brother, assigned it to him, he told me he didn't want it, so I took it to the front desk at BLT and they assigned it to my husband for me.

Use the menu button in the lower right corner to select MagicBands and More and then Pair your MagicBand+. If instead, you purchased MagicBands online from shopDisney or in a retail shop, you'll need to link them to your account using the ID numbers on the underside of the band.

To make sure your band is linked correctly you can log in to your My Disney Experience App. To get there log in, and find the Magic Band option in the drop down menu. If you have a Magic Band from a previous trip that you would like to use, you can make sure that the band you have is still linked to your account.

Just make sure they're active. One thing thats a slight bummer is cannot use them to buy points at resort arcades but thats life. They will work for purchases and tapping into rides. But they won't link the ride photos that don't have a touch point.

They run off of a small battery inside the band. Disney says the batteries are designed to last for 2 years. I have read of batteries lasting for up to five years. Since a Disney Magic Band is just a link to your My Disney Experience account, it can be used for many trips until the battery no longer works.

Make sure that both of you have your own My Disney Experience accounts, have downloaded the My Disney Experience mobile app, and have connected with each other (ensuring that you are sharing plans).
