Can you park at Disney Springs before it opens?

Disney Springs does not officially open until 10:00 AM on most days. Parking garages do open prior to that time, but there is no posted time as to exactly what time the garages will open each day.

Yes, you can generally park in the Disney Springs garages (Orange, Lime, and Grapefruit) before the shops and restaurants officially open. The garages typically open around 9:00 AM, whereas most retail locations don't open until 10:00 AM. This is a popular strategy for those with early morning dining reservations (like brunch at Chef Art Smith's Homecomin') or those who want to beat the crowds for a movie at the AMC Theatre. In 2026, parking at Disney Springs remains complimentary, which is a rare perk at Walt Disney World. However, keep in mind that while you can park early, the security checkpoints leading into the promenade may not open until shortly before the official opening time. If you arrive too early, you may find yourself waiting at the entrance of the garage elevators or stairs until the security staff begins screening guests for the day.

In our experience, the parking lots at the parks open at least 30 and often an hour before the park opens to the first guests (e.g. an hour before Early Entry most days). For these reasons, having a car makes it much easier to control your arrival time for rope drop at Animal Kingdom, Epcot, and Hollywood Studios.
