Can you park hop with lightning lane?

As long as you have a Park Hopper benefit on your ticket, you can make Genie+ Lightning Lane reservations at different parks. Just keep in mind that until January 9, 2024, you can't park hop until after 2 p.m., so your return time would need to be after that.



As of 2026, you can absolutely park hop with the Lightning Lane Multi Pass (the service that replaced Genie+), but there are specific rules on how it works. When you first purchase the Multi Pass, you must select your initial three attraction arrivals for the same theme park. However, once you enter that first park and "tap in" (redeem) your very first Lightning Lane selection, the system "unlocks." At that point, you are free to book your next available Lightning Lane at any of the other three Walt Disney World theme parks, provided you have a valid ticket with Park Hopping capabilities. This "use one, get one" system allows for much more flexibility than the old Genie+ model. For example, you could start your morning with three rides at Magic Kingdom, and as soon as you scan into the first one, you could book a return time for Slinky Dog Dash at Hollywood Studios for later that afternoon. This makes the Multi Pass an essential tool for "power users" in 2026 who want to maximize their time across multiple Disney parks in a single day.
