Can you pay monthly for Disney Magic Key?

During the purchase process, you'll select which Magic Key you would like to purchase and on the next screen you will be able to select if you would like to pay in full or make payments. Click on the monthly payment option and hit continue.

As of early 2026, the Magic Key monthly payment plan is a benefit strictly reserved for California residents living in ZIP codes 90000–96199. To take advantage of this, you must be logged into your Disney account and have a California government-issued ID verified during the purchase. For non-residents, the total cost of the pass must be paid in full at the time of purchase. Standard monthly rates in 2026 range from approximately $42 for the Imagine Key to $150 for the Inspire Key, following an initial down payment of $99. It is important to note that the Imagine Key is further restricted to Southern California residents only. If you are a resident, this plan allows you to spread the cost over 12 months with 0% APR, making the premium annual pass experience more accessible while still enjoying standard perks like park-hopping and merchandise discounts.
