Can you see princesses at Animal Kingdom?

The number of Animal Kingdom characters available for meet and greets is less than you will find in other Disney Parks, but they still feature a few unique opportunities. In addition to the fab 5 you can also find some characters that are more animal related. The one thing you won't find much of here? Princesses.

In 2026, your options for seeing "official" Disney Princesses at Animal Kingdom are very limited, as the park focuses more on wildlife and adventure. The only princess with a permanent, dedicated meet-and-greet location is Moana, who greets guests at Character Landing on Discovery Island. You can also frequently find Pocahontas roaming near the Discovery River or appearing on "flotillas" (boats) that circle the park’s waterways throughout the day. Occasionally, Raya from Raya and the Last Dragon makes appearances near the Maharajah Jungle Trek in Asia during special events. However, traditional "royal" princesses like Cinderella, Belle, or Snow White do not appear at Animal Kingdom. If your goal is to see a high volume of princesses, you must head to Magic Kingdom’s Princess Fairytale Hall or EPCOT’s World Showcase. Animal Kingdom is designed to showcase "heroines" who have a deep connection to nature and the environment, which is why Moana and Pocahontas are the primary royal figures found within its lush, jungle-themed borders.

You'll watch stage shows.
