Can you share Disney Magic Key?

If your family situation ever does change, please know that you can link your daughter's Magic Key to multiple accounts in the Disneyland mobile app. Under Tickets and Passes, click the + at the top right corner, then click Link Tickets & Passes.

No, you cannot share a Disney Magic Key (Disneyland's version of an annual pass). Every Magic Key is strictly assigned to a single individual and is non-transferable. When you first use your Magic Key to enter Disneyland Park or Disney California Adventure, a Cast Member will take a digital photograph of your face which is then permanently linked to your pass in the Disney system. Every time you scan your pass at the turnstiles thereafter, your photo appears on the Cast Member's tablet to verify your identity. If you attempt to give your pass to a friend or family member, and the photo does not match, the pass can be confiscated and permanently revoked without a refund. Additionally, the digital Magic Key is stored within the Disneyland app on your phone; while you can technically log into your account on another person's device, the photo verification at the gate remains the primary security barrier. Disney takes this policy very seriously to prevent fraud and ensure that the benefits of the pass—such as discounts and park reservations—are only utilized by the person who paid for the contract.
