Can you sit anywhere on a train? If the train company does not offer seat reservations on the train you are travelling on, the reservation ticket will specify the date and time of travel. In this case, you may sit in any available seat on the specified train, appropriate to the class of your ticket.

The Toronto to Vancouver sleeper train cost depends on the train class you select and the date you choose to travel. Fares for a cabin for two in Sleeper Plus Class start at approximately $2000 per person. Fares for Prestige Class cabins start at approximately $5000 per person.

The most affordable seats are in economy class. At times there are escape fares available, which are non-refundable, but a good deal. For example, an escape fare from Toronto to Montréal could be 103 CAD, while a normal economy fare is 127 CAD. Escape fares can be seen at the time of booking.
