Alcoholic beverages are not permitted to be carried off the vessel. We ask that you finish your beverage prior to leaving. Alcoholic beverages can only be sold (1) per I.D. at a time with a limit of (2) drinks per passenger. No outside food or beverages shall be consumed on board NYC Ferry vessels at any time.
Ferry ConcessionsPlease drink responsibly. Outside food and non-alcoholic beverages can be brought and consumed on board the ferry. Due to state law, alcoholic beverages that are not purchased on board the ferry cannot be consumed on the ferry. Please see our current COVID-19 rules related to masking.
How many bags can I bring on the ferry? Walk-on passengers are allowed up to 100 pounds of hand-carried baggage. Passengers are responsible for the handling and safety of their own bags. Baggage carts are driven from terminals and parked on the vessel car deck to offer assistance.
Smoking and using electronic cigarettes are prohibited onboard the ferries at all times. Smoking and using electronic cigarettes are also prohibited within all enclosed spaces in the terminal and is allowed only in designated terminal areas.
What types of security procedures should a traveler expect? By entering the Ferry property, people agree to searches of their baggage,vehicle, person or property and to provide a photo ID upon request.
