Can you stay in Magic Kingdom after hours?

Disney After Hours is a specially ticketed event (meaning it's a ticket that is purchased separate from regular park tickets) that allows people to enter Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom at 7 p.m. and stay until midnight or 1 a.m. (ending time varies by date).

Magic Kingdom (along with Hollywood Studios) has a special event where you can pay extra to stay in the park for several hours after it officially closes. Before anything else happens, Disney does a security sweep to make sure no stragglers are left behind. It's not uncommon for people to try to hide out in the parks overnight, but Disney Security knows the popular hiding spots, specifically on Tom Sawyer Island, and they will find you and escort you out.
