Can you sunbathe in Algarve in April?

Just recently, we spent 3 weeks in the Algarve in April and it was sunny and warm enough for the beach every single day. Daytime temperatures averaged around 22-25°C (72-77°F) for three weeks in a row, and there were even a few days when it got as warm as 28-30°C (82-86°F).
