We go every January and even though it is sometimes a little windy the sun is hot and as long as sun is out you will be fine.

We have been a few times in January and in my opinion it's way too cold to swim. Even if the air is warm that day, the water is way too cold. Still beautiful though! We went this past January and swimming was awesome.
