Can you swim in the ocean in Puerto Plata?

Named in honor of Puerto Rican pirate Roberto Cofresí, this spectacular beach to the west of the city of Puerto Plata is one of the most untouched, prettiest beaches in the area. It's perfect for relaxing, sunbathing, and swimming in its crystal-clear waters.
