Can you take coffee on Disney bus?

Beverages and food are allowed on the buses. Whether it's juice, coffee, or water, we always make sure to have our morning pick me up with us as we make our way to the theme parks. I would just be sure to have a top on any beverage container that you have in case the bus has to make any sudden stops.

You are permitted to bring coffee and other beverages onto a Disney Transport bus, but there is a significant catch regarding the container. Disney’s official policy requires that any drink brought on board must have a secure, spill-proof lid. This means a standard open ceramic mug or a flimsy paper cup with a loose plastic lid may be rejected by the driver to prevent hot liquid spills during the sudden stops and turns typical of bus transit. If you have a travel tumbler with a locking lid or a well-sealed disposable cup, you are generally fine. It is also worth noting that you cannot consume food on the bus, and "open" alcohol is strictly prohibited. Because the buses can become extremely crowded—with many passengers standing in the aisles—holding a hot beverage requires extra caution to avoid accidental burns to yourself or those standing near you. Most seasoned guests recommend finishing your morning brew at the resort bus stop or waiting until you arrive at the theme park, where you can easily find a place to sit and enjoy your caffeine fix before heading to the turnstiles.
