According to the official Walt Disney World Resort property rules for 2026, you cannot take your shirt off while inside the theme parks. The dress code explicitly states that proper attire, including shoes and shirts, must be worn at all times. This policy is strictly enforced to maintain a family-friendly environment and for health and safety reasons. If a guest is found without a shirt, Cast Members will politely ask them to put one back on; failure to comply can result in being denied admission or being removed from the park. The only exceptions to this rule are the Disney Water Parks (Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach) and the pool areas at Disney Resort hotels, where appropriate swimwear is allowed. Even in those locations, however, guests are generally expected to cover up when moving into dining areas or gift shops. For the four main theme parks—Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Hollywood Studios, and Animal Kingdom—a shirt must be worn regardless of the Florida heat.
