Can you use DAS pass on guardians?

Guests who are registered for DAS must either join the virtual queue or buy an Individual Lightning Lane (or both if you'd like to ride twice in one day) in order to access Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind. There is currently no option to simply request a DAS return time for this attraction.

Yes, the Disability Access Service (DAS) can be used for Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind at EPCOT, but the process is slightly different than for traditional rides because Guardians currently utilizes a Virtual Queue. In 2026, Disney's policy remains that you must first secure a place in the Virtual Queue (or purchase an Individual Lightning Lane) before your DAS benefits can be applied. Once you have successfully joined the Virtual Queue via the My Disney Experience app at 7:00 AM or 1:00 PM and your "Boarding Group" is called, you do not go into the standard standby line. Instead, you approach the cast members at the Lightning Lane entrance and let them know you have an active DAS. They will scan your MagicBand or ticket, verify your DAS status, and then direct you through the Lightning Lane, which significantly reduces the amount of time you spend standing in a physical queue. This is designed to assist guests who have difficulty waiting in a conventional line environment due to a disability. It is important to remember that DAS does not provide "immediate" access; it provides a "wait time" comparable to the current standby line, but allows you to wait in a more comfortable environment of your choosing.

You will need to explain your needs to the Cast Member at the attractions. A DAS is NOT required for those accommodations. – A DAS is not usable on rides, attractions, meet & greets, parades and fireworks shows that don't offer both a Standby queue and a Genie+ queue.

In most cases, guests who have been late to Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind have been allowed to ride after scanning their park ticket at the attraction's entrance. Though this may not be the case for every day, especially during the parks' busy seasons.

While you won't have unlimited access to Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, I'm happy to tell you that if you will be attending Extended Evening Theme Park Hours at EPCOT, you will have the opportunity to join a virtual queue at 6:00 p.m. for this attraction.

While DAS return times require you to wait the full standby time, Genie+ selections can be made for the next available time window and can be used right away. Purchasing Genie+ is not necessary when utilizing DAS, but there may be days where using both could be helpful, such as peak holiday times.

We would then automatically be given a Lightning Lane time to redeem at the attraction in 30 minutes. DAS guests still wait near the posted amount of time — they are just not being required to wait that time in the actual line. They can walk around or enjoy other attractions.

Consider a disability assistance card. The card allows you to go to an attraction and get a set time to come back and experience the ride. There are two ways to register for DAS: (1) pre-arrival via live video chat or (2) on-site at any theme park guest relations window. You don't need a doctor's note.

I highly recommend utilizing the DAS Advance process before your trip. Our trip will be at a crowded time in the parks, and not having to head to guest services is certainly a plus. The fact that the wait times in the virtual queue are lower makes it much easier on families to be able to plan for this process.

The process is similar to getting a Lightning Lane, but with a few key differences. When someone registered with DAS wants to ride a ride, they select that ride and are given a return time based on the length of the current standby line. Then, they return at the appointed time and use the Lightning Lane for boarding.
