Can you use Disney pool on day of checkout?

Guests of any of the Walt Disney World Resort Hotels are allowed the use of the amenities of their resort until midnight following the morning of check-out. You might want to store personal items with Bell Services at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge for your convenience before your departure.

Arriving Before Your Room Is Ready Prior to checking into your room, you can gain access to certain areas of your Disney Resort hotel—such as the pool—with the unlock door feature in the My Disney Experience app or an active Disney band.

You won't need a Disney Park Pass theme park reservation or a regular theme park ticket to get in as long as you enter the park no earlier than 7:00 PM. If you want to drop in earlier, you'll need a standard theme park ticket — and a park reservation (if your ticket type requires one).

Most hotels require that travelers check out by 11:00 a.m. or noon so housekeepers have time to clean rooms for the next guest. Be sure you know the deadline at your hotel so you can plan accordingly. If you need a little extra time, call the front desk as far in advance as you can and see if they can accommodate you.

However, that has changed. You now can only park hop AFTER 2PM. So you'll have to wait until well after lunchtime if you're planning on visiting another park. However, this rule is different for Annual Passholders.

The Genie 120-minute rule says that you can make a new reservation at most 2 hours from when you made the last one, and this countdown timer doesn't change if you modify the reservation. If you made it at, say, 11 a.m., then your two hours will be up at 1 p.m. even if you modify the reservation at noon.

It is the same price for everyone whether you arrive at Park Opening or at 4 pm. Annual Passholders now have the ability to visit the Parks with their pass after 2 pm with no Park Reservations. However, they are limited by their blackout dates and can't do this at Magic Kingdom Park on weekends.

With a Disney base ticket, you're welcome to leave and re-enter the same theme park as many times as you like during the same day. So, if you want to visit the Magic Kingdom in the morning, go back to your hotel room for a nap, and return to the Magic Kingdom in the evening, then you do not need a Park Hopper ticket.

Guests are allowed to bring outside food and nonalcoholic beverage items into the park for self-consumption, provided they are not in glass containers and do not require heating, reheating, processing, refrigeration or temperature control and do not have pungent odors.
