Much like in the U.S., in Mexico, it is customary to tip service workers in restaurants, hotels, and Ubers. The standard tip is 10% of the bill, but you can give more or less depending on the quality of service. Tipping is not required, but it is appreciated.
The yellow area is the areas of Tulum where you can walk easier. This area has sidewalks or space for bike and walking paths. This area included the downtown, beaches, and going to the Tulum Ruins site. Some parts of Aldea Zama are walkable but most people drive to this neighborhood and walk around.
Alcohol. There are no federal limits on how much alcohol you can carry in your suitcase for personal use. One case is considered a good rule of thumb. But you will be taxed if you bring more than a one-liter bottle of alcohol from Mexico.
