We actually did this walk the other day as we are staying at the Beach Club, but from the Swan or Dolphin there is also a walking path and if you walk as slow as us it will take about 15 minutes, but if you walk at a normal pace you should easily be able to do it in 10 minutes or so.
Can you see fireworks from the Swan and Dolphin? Yes. The hotels are located about midway between EPCOT and Hollywood Studios. All three hotels offer at least a few rooms with views of fireworks.
Walt Disney World Dolphin offers a bit more in savings when compared with the Swan, perhaps because of its larger size and many on-site activities. For some people, this can be a benefit, but if you're looking to relax, the more expensive Swan offers more peace and quiet.

From Magic Kingdom or Disney's Animal Kingdom, you can catch a bus to Disney's BoardWalk Inn or Villas. However, if you are at EPCOT or Disney's Hollywood Studios, Disney's BoardWalk is accessible via boat or walking!
The Swan and Dolphin resorts are situated in the same location ? Both nestled between Hollywood Studios and Epcot theme parks. The Swan resort is only a few hundred feet from the Dolphin; therefore, you can expect the same kind of travel times and distances from the theme parks.
Discover carnival games, unique dining and exciting nightlife on the Coney Island-style boardwalk. Strung like saltwater taffy along the shimmering Crescent Lake, Disney's BoardWalk Inn is located within walking distance to both EPCOT and Disney's Hollywood Studios.
While of course you would need to pay for shopping or dining, you can walk around the area with no admissions charge. There is also often entertainment happening for free outside. Disney Springs is along a lovely waterfront that you can take in and enjoy.
To get to Disney's Boardwalk, you can arrive via a car and park in the parking lot or catch the bus from Disney Springs or one of the theme parks. Once you arrive, you will find stairs leading to the Boardwalk next to the entrance. If you have additional questions, please let us know.
You may buy them on your own but they are only good for getting in and out of the park and using fast passes while in the park. The swan and dolphin are not set up for magic bands for room entrance, crediting purchases to rooms or meal plans. We used our disney cards, for entrance to the parks and for fast passes.
