Can you walk into Corfu from cruise terminal?

The walk from the Port of Corfu (i.e. New Port) to the Town of Corfu takes approximately 20 minutes (one half-mile). After leaving the terminal, pedestrians should turn left and walk along the seafront to the Old Town. The stroll will take you by a number or cafes and restaurants.
