Can you walk through Hyde Park to Buckingham Palace?

The two parks flow in to each other. So if you were starting from the Western end of Hyde Park (Kensington Palace say) then it is just over 2 miles to Buckingham Palace. Buckingham Palace to Big Ben (Houses of Parliament) is a lot easier, you just walk through St Jame's Park and past Westminster Abbey.
