Can you wear flip flops to an amusement park?

You can but there are likely to be rules against wearing them on certain rides or attractions. There is often somewhere to leave shoes and bags etc. at the entrance to the ride and they can be collected afterwards.

Sneakers or water like sneakers would be the most appropriate. DO NOT wear heels or sandals. I saw a lot of sandals break and feet slipping around in them. Being on your feet all day you really need to be smart for your feet.

It depends on what you find comfortable, flips flops also good on water rides as they dry fast, also I find sneakers, trainers too hot when we are there July/August, . You can wear flip flops but with some of the coasters, it's really not too smart because you take the chance of losing them.

The key for any amusement park outfit is COMFORT and LAYERING. The parks open early, so you'll want something warmer in the morning (unless you're going in the dead of summer), easy layers you can shed in the afternoon as it warms up, and layers you can add back on as it cools down at night.
