Can you wear flip-flops to Universal Studios Orlando?
You can wear flip flops but with some of the coasters, it's really not too smart because you take the chance of losing them.

There can be a lot of walking around within the hotels and theme parks. For this reason, it is not a good idea to wear flip-flops or heeled shoes. You may need to add a few dressy pieces to your travel wardrobe if you plan on dining at one of the upscale restaurants or hitting the nightclubs at Universal CityWalk™.

Sandals. Some people have that one pair of sandals that are the most comfortable pair in the world, if that is you, by all means, wear them. But just remember, wearing sandals at the theme park may not be the best decision if you're going to be on your feet for 8-9 hours at a theme park.
Sure flip flops perfectly fine. no restrictions on footwear but suggest whatever you decide needs to be ultra comfortable - you will do tons of walking!! If you want to wear flip flops just be prepared to keep taking them off or carry lots of spares around with you!
Most of Universal Orlando's rides allow you to wear a fanny pack. The Incredible Hulk, Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit & Velocicoaster are the only attractions that require ALL items including cellphones be put into a locker.

While on the subject of sandals, lets bring up Crocs. These things can be incredibly uncomfortable on your feet at a theme park due to the heat and water/sweat combination. Blisters, anyone? Crocs are comfortable wearing around the house and maybe to the grocery store, but not at a theme park for hours on end.
