Do adults dress up on Disney Halloween Cruise?

Thanks for sailing to us to ask a question about one of my favorite subjects... Halloween on the High Seas! I'm very happy to share that adults are encouraged to dress up in their ghoulish garb to trick-or-treat and take part in the frightfully fun festivities.

Guests are encouraged to wear costumes during themed cruises (think Halloween on the High Seas, Pixar, and Marvel-themed cruises) and for onboard celebrations like Pirate Night. During these themed events, guests are allowed to dress as their favorite character, but may not pose for photographs or sign autographs.

Guidelines for Disney Costumes. During regular park hours, costumes are only allowed for guests ages 13 and under. During Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, everyone is allowed (and encouraged) to wear costumes.

For safety, masks and clothing that drags on the ground are prohibited, but additionally, Guests aged 14 or older can't come in costume. That doesn't mean you can't have fun with how you come dressed to the parks.

Your princess is in luck though, the attire policies at the Disneyland Resort allow guests under the age of 14 to wear costumes in the park! Sadly, wearing a costume doesn't cover park admission.
