Besides providing itinerary details, an e-ticket itinerary receipt also contains: An official ticket number (including the airline's 3-digit ticketing code, a 4-digit form number, a 6-digit serial number, and sometimes a check digit) Carriage terms and conditions (or at least a reference to them)
When a customer purchases an e-ticket, the e-ticket is emailed to them as a PDF file or stored in an online ticketing system. The e-ticket contains information such as the customer's name, flight number, seat number and other relevant details about the purchase.
Many airports are installing self-service check-in desks, which can help save time as there are rarely any queues for them. If you see one, type in your information on the screen (usually your eTicket's reservation number, your passport number, and/or your flight details), and it'll print your boarding pass for you.
