In 2026, TUI’s meal policy follows the standard industry divide between short-haul and long-haul travel. On long-haul flights (typically over 7 hours, such as to the Caribbean or Mexico), a multi-course meal and a light snack before landing are included in the ticket price for all passengers. Complimentary soft drinks, tea, and coffee are also provided during meal service. However, on short and mid-haul flights (under 7 hours, such as to Spain, Greece, or North Africa), meals are not included. Instead, TUI operates a "Buy on Board" service called the TUI Café, where you can purchase sandwiches, snacks, and drinks. If you are flying on a mid-haul flight (over 3 hours), you often have the option to "pre-order" a hot meal during the booking process or via the "Manage My Booking" portal up to 48 hours before departure. The exception to this is if you have booked a "Premium" seat on a mid-haul flight, which occasionally includes a complimentary meal box. It is always best to pack a few snacks if you are flying within Europe to avoid the premium prices of the onboard menu.
