As of early 2026, babies and toddlers under the age of 3 (ages 0, 1, and 2) do not pay for admission to any of the Walt Disney World theme parks. They are admitted for free and do not require a park ticket or a park reservation. Furthermore, children under 3 can eat for free at Disney's "all-you-care-to-enjoy" buffet and family-style restaurants (like Chef Mickey's) when sharing from an adult's plate. Once a child turns 3, they are required to have a "Child" ticket (for ages 3–9). Disney uses the child's age on the first day of the trip, so if your baby turns 3 during your vacation, they usually remain free for the remainder of that specific stay. This policy makes the toddler years an exceptionally popular time for families to visit before the added cost of tickets and dining plans kicks in.
