Do children pay on the metro in Paris?

There is no charge for children aged under 4, and children aged 4 to 9 pay half fare. A metro or bus ticket costs €1.90 for one ticket and €18.60 for 'un carnet' (10 tickets) The 'ticket T+' allows travellers to change buses or change between a bus and a tram on their journey within a time period of 1hr30.
