The Resort Monorail runs from 7am until 1 hour after regular hours park closing at the Magic Kingdom. For ticketed events, such as Halloween and Christmas Party nights, the resort monorail runs until 30 minutes after the event ends.

Yes, you may indeed use the Disneyland Monorail to enter the Park for Early Entry. A line will begin to form outside the Monorail station approximately 20 minutes before.
Go EarlyIf you want to avoid long lines there's no simpler way than to wake up early and get to the park before it opens. Whether you have access to early entry or not, being at the park entrance before it opens will save you lots of time. Usually, you can get in 2-3 rides during the first hour of park operation.
