Moving between terminals
If you need to go to another terminal to catch your next flight, it should not take you more than 20 minutes as all three terminals are adjacent to each other. Terminal 2 is approximately 2km from Terminal 1. You will need to go through security again if you are moving between terminals.
Shortly before you arrive in Dubai the ICE screen before you will show the gate number of your connecting flight. The airport is built to facilitate transfers. In Dubai, leave aircraft, follow “connections” signs, pass through security, and you are into the Terminal, which is vast.
