Do I need a blanket on the Camino?

Specially during the summer, you won't be really needing a warm sleeping bag. In albergues there are sometimes blankets you can pull over your liner in case it gets colder than expected. If there's no blanket just put an extra layer on like a long sleeve.

In our experience, the best type of towel to take on the Camino in your backpack is a trek towel. This is because trek towels are lightweight, small and dry quickly.
