Do people go to Disneyland when its raining?

Disneyland Resort is open rain or shine and many guests still make it to the parks during the rain because they don't want to miss out on their vacation time. There are a few attractions that will close during rain, but many remain open and Genie+ still works in the rain too.

Slinky Dog Dash is in Toy Story Land at Disney's Hollywood Studios. Since it's an outdoor attraction, it shuts down in heavy rain and if there's severe weather or lightning in the area. Rain boots make the most amount of sense for a rainy day. But at least in my experience, rain boots aren't comfortable. Especially for all the walking you will be doing for a day wandering around the Park. So instead I suggest a pair of boots that will be able to be worn for more than just the rain.

On a 90 degree Florida day, a nice quick soak might feel refreshing. With the heat, you also get dry faster. If you visit Orlando in the colder months and you ride a big splash ride at night, you might find yourself shivering just a bit. In these situations, ponchos might be more of a benefit.
