Do rides at Kings Island have a weight limit?

Due to rider restraint system requirements, guest of larger size (in terms of height, weight, and/or body proportions) may not be accommodated on some of our rides. Our larger guests may experience difficulty on: Banshee, Diamondback, Drop Tower & Flight of Fear.

The Vortex and the Bat are the 2 fat kid friendliest coasters there. On the major coasters and thrill rides, they have a tester seat set up at the front of the ride. Any other ride, if you go to the exit and are pretty nice about it, the workers will let you on the ride to test the restraint before you wait in line.

Now even though there are not any weight limits posted, some rides are more comfortable than others if a Guest is very tall or even Pooh or Baloo sized. In my experience, the seating of Seven Dwarfs Mine Train and Astro Orbiter at Magic Kingdom is rather a snug fit for larger Guests.

With that being said, that is just a guideline! Plenty of guests will learn there is no Universal Studios weight limit, and as long as your comfortable and the ride is secured safely, you're all set! We strongly encourage you to give the test seats a try, which you can find right at the entrance of these attractions.

There are sample seats outside of the ride that you can try. I'm a bigger person, and I just barely fit in the seats. This has been an issue for other guests too, and they actually offer some modified seats now.
