Do Swan and Dolphin use Disney buses?

Since the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin are not a part of the Disney Resorts Collection shuttle bus transportation is provided by an outside company. Busses often run every 20-25 minutes from an area near the front entrance of each hotel.



Although located on Disney property, the Walt Disney World Swan, Dolphin, and Swan Reserve hotels do not use the standard Disney bus system. Since 2020, they have utilized Mears Transportation for shuttle services. This is a critical distinction because Mears buses drop guests off at the Transportation and Ticket Center (TTC) for the Magic Kingdom, whereas official Disney buses drop guests off directly at the park's front gates. To reach the Magic Kingdom from these hotels, you must take the monorail or ferry from the TTC. However, guests still have access to the Friendship Boats, which provide direct water transport to EPCOT and Disney's Hollywood Studios. Many seasoned travelers choose to walk to the nearby Disney's BoardWalk Inn or Yacht Club to use those resorts' official Disney buses for a more direct drop-off at the Magic Kingdom.
