Do they metal detect you at Hersheypark?

How are guests screened as they enter Hersheypark®? Evolv uses state of the art sensors and imaging technology to identify items that are not permitted inside our venue. Evolv technology does not employ metal detection systems and provides a frictionless experience for our guests as they enter.

The Whip, which was located in the Midway America section of the park, is being removed for the 2023 season. Hersheypark confirmed this in a tweet regarding the removal of the ride. The ride was added to the Midway America expansion at the park and was near the former Wildcat coaster and the Music Express ride.

FREE CUPS OF WATER Simply walk up to any concession stand serving fountain drinks and ask for a cup of water. Employees will happily give you one. Another way to keep the fluids flowing: purchase a refillable park cup and you'll get free refills during your visit.

Thursday and Tuesday are often the best days to go for shorter lines, while Saturday and Sunday tend to be the busiest. The most popular months are typically April, May and September, while December, November and January are normally quieter. To get the most out of your day we recommend arriving early and leaving late.
