Regular Dollywood PricesAs of November 2022, Dollywood prices are $89 for a standard one day adult pass, $109 for two days, and $119 packages for three days. Dollywood discount tickets apply to seniors 62+ and children ages 4-9. Admission is free to children 3 and under.
While going to Dollywood in the low season is ideal, visiting on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday during summer is the best way to dodge crowds and long lines.
If I come to Dollywood after 3, can I still get in free the next day? In previous years, visitors who purchased tickets and entered Dollywood after 3 PM were alloewd to return the following day for free. This program has been discontinued and tickets purchased after 3 PM are not valid for reentry the following day.
Purchase Tickets in AdvanceWith your online tickets already in hand, you can avoid the lines at the ticket counters and just head into the turnstiles! The park also sells multiple day tickets and season passes where you can visit as much as you want all year long.
Dollywood is closed for the off-season. With the way the calendar falls this year, that means our teams have 67 days to reset and ready the park for another great year of operation. Dollywood re-opens March 11 (March 10 for Season Passholders).
When To Arrive. We encourage you to arrive about an hour before the park opens for the quickest entry into the park. If you're not an early bird, it's also a great strategy to arrive after lunch. Most guests tend to arrive between 9:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m.
As for the rush through the gate, we often see crowds from around 10 a.m. until about noon. The secret is to arrive early so you can be in line before that rush. Or, wait until early afternoon so you can capitalize on playtime while a lot of folks are looking for lunch.
There's so much to see and do at Dollywood. Since you'll likely be there all day (or two), a backpack is probably one of the best bags to bring if you must bring something. Better than a purse, carrying a bag on your back will keep you hands-free and give you an extra place to store your beverage, keys and keepsakes.
Silver BAFF tickets have blackout dates of Fridays, Saturdays, and 3/24/23 - 4/8/23, 10/2/23 - 10/15/23, 11/24/23 - 1/6/24 at Dollywood and Fridays, Saturdays and 7/3/23 - 7/9/23 at Dollywood's Splash Country(if purchasing a Two-Park Silver Pass).
I typically squeeze in my trips to Dollywood in one day, and I've enjoyed every one of them. The one time I took two days to visit Dollywood, I enjoyed it even more! Some would say three days is even better! For some of us, however, we are burdened by time constraints and all we have is one day at Dollywood.

Not only is Dollywood less crowded in the spring, but the weather is great, too. March through May have mild temperatures in the 60s and 70s and reduced humidity. This creates a pleasant environment for many entertaining outdoor activities for the whole family.
Dollywood does not permit visitors to bring food or drinks into the park, although attendees are welcome to leave to eat elsewhere and return that same day. Otherwise, a variety of excellent options for dining and snacks are available onsite.
In fact, if you are within at least three hours of Dollywood, a day trip is very feasible for you! No, you definitely won't get to do all the amazing things that Dollywood offers, but you can certainly hit the highlights!
Free Water StationsDollywood always offers guests free ice water at any culinary location to make sure everyone stays hydrated while having fun. We've installed water bottle refill stations around the park so you can fill up your own water bottle without waiting in line at a food location!
In the early spring, for example, we are open, but many families don't travel until spring break, so we are closed on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Then, during the busiest spring break period, we are open every day. During the summer, we are open every day. The best piece of advice is to check the calendar before you visit.
