Do trams run all night in Manchester?

The reinstatement of trams running later into the night comes as Transport for Greater Manchester (TfGM) has seen a return in demand with passenger numbers recently going back to pre-pandemic levels. On Fridays and Saturdays, from September 29, trams will run every 20 minutes between midnight and 1am.

The metrolink tram network operates from around 6am until midnight Monday to Saturday. On Sundays, this changes slightly with a running time of 7am to midnight. The first available tram from Victoria to the Airport on Monday's through to Saturdays departs at 5.44am but requires a change at St Werburgh's Road.
