Do Uber drivers like conversation?

If you are in some way interesting, friendly or otherwise extraordinary, I will probably want to chat with you, but not always. Don't take it personally. You're paying for a ride from a stranger…don't expect much beyond that. Why do all Lyft/Uber drivers try to get in conversation with their passengers?
