Do we need to bring towels to Typhoon Lagoon?

Bring your own towels It may not occur to you to bring your own towels, after all, water parks in Orlando will certainly have their own, right? Well, yes and no. At Typhoon Lagoon they do have towels to rent. You're required to make a non-refundable payment in order to take them.

In 2026, whether you need to bring a towel to Disney's Typhoon Lagoon depends on your accommodation. If you are a Disney Resort hotel guest, you do not need to bring towels; they are provided complimentary. You can pick them up at "Singapore Sal’s" or "High 'N Dry Rentals" by scanning your MagicBand or room key. However, for non-resort guests (off-site visitors), towels are not free. You can either bring your own from home to save money or rent them at the park for a small fee (typically around $2 to $5 per towel). A supportive peer tip: many regular visitors prefer to bring their own large beach towels anyway, as the provided resort towels can be somewhat small and "scratchy" compared to personal ones, and it helps you identify your lounge chair in a crowded seating area.
