Do you get a physical magic key?

When you purchase a Magic Key Pass, everything is delivered to you digitally and linked to your Disneyland account. You will receive a nice little commemorative magnet, but no physical card is included.

No, in 2026, Disneyland does not automatically provide a physical card for its "Magic Key" (Annual Pass) program. Upon purchase, your Magic Key is issued digitally and resides within the Disneyland App under the "Tickets and Passes" section. To enter the parks or receive discounts on food and merchandise, you simply scan the QR code on your smartphone. If you prefer a physical touchpoint, you can link your Magic Key to a MagicBand+, which allows you to tap in at the gate hands-free. While the digital-first approach is the standard, a physical "commemorative" card can occasionally be purchased at the ticket booths for a fee (historically around $20), but it is not necessary for park entry. Most "Key Holders" prefer the app as it also manages their mandatory park reservations, which must be made up to 90 days in advance and are required even for passholders to enter Disneyland Park or California Adventure.
