Do you get MagicBands at Swan and Dolphin?

You may buy them on your own but they are only good for getting in and out of the park and using fast passes while in the park. The swan and dolphin are not set up for magic bands for room entrance, crediting purchases to rooms or meal plans. We used our disney cards, for entrance to the parks and for fast passes.

Guests staying at the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin (and the Swan Reserve) in 2026 do not receive free MagicBands. Because these hotels are operated by Marriott rather than Disney, they are considered "Other Select Deluxe Hotels." While you get many on-site perks like Early Theme Park Entry and Extended Evening Hours, the complimentary MagicBand benefit was retired for all guests years ago. You can, however, purchase a MagicBand or the newer MagicBand+ through the My Disney Experience app at a discount if you have a linked reservation, or buy one at full price in the hotel gift shop. A grounded alternative for 2026 is using Disney MagicMobile on your phone or Apple Watch, which is completely free and performs most of the same functions as a band. A supportive peer tip: even without the free band, the Swan and Dolphin are often the "gold standard" for value because they allow you to use Marriott Bonvoy points while staying within walking distance of EPCOT and Hollywood Studios!
