Do you get wet on aquatopia?

There are two sides to the lagoon, which you board from a central boarding platform. During the summer, one side becomes a wet course while the other is the dry course. The wet course adds the possibility of getting soaked by hidden water jets along the ride while the dry course is jet-free.

You're going to get wet. The ride has hidden sprinklers that add water to make the splash more dramatic. Some people say they turn the sprinklers down during colder weather, but that won't keep you dry. You will get wetter if you sit in the front rows than if you sit in the back.

It's our favourite Disney park in the world. DisneySea rides are more adult-orientated than at its sister park Tokyo Disneyland, and there are many other attractions that are great to do without kids like have a cocktail in a 1920s lounge on a fancy cruise liner (yes, really!).

If the rain isn't heavy and there isn't danger of lightning, our best advice is to put on a poncho and keep moving! Indoor attractions will be open, and the lines typically get shorter during rainstorms.

The drops on Splash don't give you much of the stomach drop sensation. They are not very steep. That said, the drops will still probably bother you mentally, but it will be well worth it. Splash Mountain is one of the truly special rides in all of WDW that MUST be experienced.
